If you've got the room, go for a shower cubicle!

After many years, and many discussions with customers - I have to say that if you have the room and are re-fitting your bathroom then fit in a separate shower cubicle. You get a much more pleasurable shower, it's easy to keep clean and you have much more room! Check out the cubicle I've just fitted below, this is a curved door corner unit but there are many shapes and sizes.

Electrical Energy Saving Bulbs/Lights

Save on your electricity bills by fitting the newest generation of LED lamps when your 50 watt GU10 or MR11/16 lamps fail!
3/4/5 watt variations are far cheaper to run saving 90% of power used, for example: for every £1of electricity used on halogen these cost less than 10p to run!
These lamps have 3 high power LEDs and last for approx 30,000 hours, plus they don't get anywhere as hot like normal halogen lamps reducing the risk of fire into voids and roof spaces.
*** new second generation LED down lighters that can be dimmable with an output in excess of a 50watt using 7 watt power is now available*** These lights conform to part E (sound), part C (moisture/airflow) and part L (conservation of fuel & power) BS 474 pt 21 fireguard. In short, if your not a boffin, these can be fitted in any room and have virtually no heat and keep the the integrity of your ceilings, by not allowing smoke or fire intrusion!!

Traditional Kitchen

You may have already picked up, but Crown Imperial kitchens are my favourite... and this is their long standing traditional kitchen range. The Victoria kitchen features beautifully crafted doors which have attractive arch design with raised and grooved centre panels. The door cup handles and knobs are finished in an antiqued bronzed finish to complete the authentic look. I've fitted this range in countless kitchens, and it still remains a firm favourite!

If you're looking for a traditional kitchen with solid build quality and authentic finish, then look no further!

Welcome to my new plumbing and carpentry site for Torbay, Devon and the South / South West!!

I've been meaning to get a site together for some time now... and finally I have! (with the help of my step-son Lee!) So here goes! I'm slowly putting in pages relating to the services I offer, I've just completed the kitchen page so go take a look! I will post new work on the blog as I do it too, so give us a follow and keep your eyes out! You never know, you may get some ideas of your own!

In other news... I've stumbled across something new I am good at! We recently decided to get some chickens so we can have our own eggs, this led me to make a bespoke chicken house and run (yeah a decent one retails for nearly £500-600!). I've since made a few more and think I'll offer this service to people, building a bespoke chicken house with run for them to fit the area they have! Here's mine below, let me know that you think!
